Students, Friends Mourn Loss Of Local Coach

FARIVIEW, Tenn.- A community is grieving after the unexpected loss of a beloved Fairview girls basketball coach and teacher.

Donna Bledsoe was killed on Interstate 40 near mile marker 190 in Cheatham County when her car ran off the roadway and hit an embankment causing her vehicle to flip ejected her. Officials from the Tennessee Highway Patrol said she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Visitation for Coach Bledsoe will be held Sunday from 3-8pm and Monday from 10-2pm at Harpeth hills Funeral Home. A life celebration service will follow at 2pm also at Harpeth Hills.
