CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- Two
young girls are found wandering the streets in Clarksville Friday night. Now their mother is behind
bars.
Police say they got a call
from a man who found the girls in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
One of the girls was able
to lead police home where they found 32-year-old Candace Sellner. She was on a computer using headphones and
says she didn't know the children left.
Police say the home was
filled with trash and smelled of ammonia and urine, but no animals live there. Sellner
is charged with child abuse and neglect. The Department of Children's Services
was contacted and responded to the scene for an investigation.
The kids are now with
their father.
