Mt. Juliet Woman Charged With Hiring Hitman To Kill Husband

MT. JULIET, Tenn. - A mid-state woman is in jail on $1 million bond for allegedly hiring a hitman to take out her ex-husband.

According to police reports, 42-year old Byram Megan Ewers supplied photos of her ex-husband to a man she believed to be a hired hitman. What she didn't know was that the "hitman" was actually an undercover officer.

Ewers was charged with solicitation to commit first degree murder. She will appear in court on February 14.
