NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Three wrecks slowed traffic at different times of day along the same part of Interstate 40 on Friday morning.
The most recent crash happened at Fesslers Lane (mile marker 212) around 10:30 a.m. A Tennessee Department of Transportation camera showed a car off the side of the road. An ambulance was on the scene, but it was unclear how many were injured.
Earlier on Friday, two crashes slowed traffic on Interstate 40 eastbound in the early morning commute.
The crashes happened between 5:30 and 5:40 a.m. between the Silliman Evans Bridge and Fesslers Lane. At least one involved a tractor trailer.
At least one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The roadway reopened shortly before 6:30 a.m.
