NASHVILLE, Tenn. – An elderly woman was the victim of a home invasion robbery early Friday morning.

The woman told police two men knocked down the back door of her home in the 900 block of Virginia Avenue around 4:15 a.m.

She told police she believe the robbers took some money and other items from her home, and were possibly carrying some kind of weapon.

The woman was not hurt.

Police continue to search for the robbers.
