One Taken To Hospital After Car, MTA Bus Crash Downtown

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A driver was taken to the hospital after a crash involving a Metropolitan Transit Authority bus in downtown Nashville on Friday morning.

The crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. at Demonbreun Street and 8th Avenue South. Police said a car and the bus collided, but it was unclear who was at fault.

Only the bus driver was on board the bus, and did not report an injury.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

Police continue to investigate.
