NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A call
for rescue in Nashville Sunday morning was too late for two men who were involved in a crash in South Nashville.
Police say the men were
driving a Lexus on Wheeler Avenue in the Glencliff area when the car left the
road and slammed into a tree. The car burst into flames and trapped the two men
inside. By the time crews got to them, they had already died.
Preliminary information
suggests the driver was 48-years-old, and the passenger 28, but the medical
examiner will use dental records to positively identify who they are.
