Two Taken To Hospital After Crash Near Airport

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Two people were rushed to the hospital early Monday morning after a crash near the Nashville International Airport.

Police said a truck crashed into the back of a car around 2:15 a.m.on Murfreesboro Pike, near the intersection with Donelson Pike.

The drivers of both vehicles, a man and a woman, were taken to the hospital, but it was unclear how serious their injuries were.

It's unknown what caused the crash, or if speed or alcohol could have been a factor.

Police continue to investigate.
