NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man who claimed to be an officer in California was arrested overnight on a public intoxication charge in downtown Nashville.
Metro Police officers were called to Bailey's on Broadway to report a disorderly person had come inside after they closed on Monday morning. Police said Ryan Thompson in the backdoor and right through the kitchen.
After he was escorted out, they said he started banging on the restaurant windows and making a scene.
When police took him into custody, Thompson identified himself as a fellow police officer out of Culver City, California.
During transport to booking, police said Thompson became very angry and officers said he repeatedly made threats to harm their families.
