Three Killed In Single Car Crash In West Tennessee

JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - Three young men have been killed in a single-car crash in Haywood County.

The Jackson Sun reported the Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the victims as Eddie L. West and Martavius Robinson, both 23 and both from Brownsville. Also killed was 24-year-old Jarves Gause of Bells.

Investigating troopers said the car, driven by West, ran off state Rt. 76-West, down a steep bank and into a tree early Sunday.

The troopers' report stated no one was wearing a seat belt and officers believe restraints would have made a difference.
