Well-Known Metro Homicide Detective Announces Retirement

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Long-time Metro Police homicide detective Pat Postiglione has announced his retirement from the force.

Sergeant Pat Postiglione has worked many of the city's high-profile murder cases, including Paul Reid, Bruce Mendenhall and Perry March. In the Mendenhall case, he spotted a tractor trailer that matched the one caught by a surveillance camera leaving a truck stop after one of the murders.

Postiglione has spent more than thirty years on the force. The date of his retirement has not yet been announced.
