Thousands Without Power In South Nashville Overnight

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A power outage left thousands of south Nashville residents cold and in the dark overnight.

Neighborhoods near Old Hickory Boulevard and Nolensville Pike were without power from about midnight until around 1:30 a.m.

At one point, nearly 11,000 Nashville Electric Service customers were without power.

It was unclear what caused the power outage.
