CROSSVILLE, Tenn. - Authorities in Crossville have arrested two men in the death of a woman at a motel.
Investigators said 41-year-old Paula Brenda Sue Selby of Crossville was found dead in a room at a Budget Inn shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday. An acquaintance had discovered her unconscious and called 911.
Police said she had head injuries from blunt force trauma.
Authorities charged 26-year-old Travis Allen Brumbalough with first-degree murder and 65-year-old Franklin Dewey Adcox with evidence tampering. Police said Adcox and Brumbalough are known acquaintances of Selby.
Brumbalough's bond was set at $1-million. Adcox's bond was set at $50,000. Both are due in court for arraignment on February 11.
An autopsy is planned for Selby at the Tennessee Medical Examiner's Office in Nashville to determine cause of death.
