COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – A woman was arrested for allegedly using her high heel to attack another woman during a fight outside a bar in Cookeville.
Police told the Cookeville Herald-Citizen an argument spilled out into the street outside the Hookah Lounge on West Broad Street in Cookeville. When police arrived, several people were fighting and one woman was bleeding badly from wounds to her head.
According to the paper, a bloody high heel shoe was found nearby with the victim's hair on the heel. Police found the woman who was wearing the matching shoe. Nakayla Shawanta Sullivan, 21, was arrested on an aggravated assault charges.
Sullivan told police the incident started inside the bar when someone threw a drink on her. She assumed it was the victim, because she was the only person in the vicinity at the time, and began to attack her.
Another victim also suffered injuries in the fight. Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The pink and black high heel was held in evidence.
No one else was arrested.
