Victims Killed In Weekend Crash Identified

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Police have identified the two men killed in a fiery crash early Sunday morning.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday on Wheeler Avenue near Tibbs Drive in South Nashville. Police said Larry W. Bowers, 48, of Nashville, and Mitch Sweatt, 28, of Gallatin, were killed with their car left the road and slammed into a tree. The car burst into flames and trapped the two men inside.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash .
