NASHVILLE, Tenn. – One person was injured in a crash involving multiple vehicles in Davidson County. A police officer was also involved.

The crash happened around 6 a.m. Friday on Bull Run Road.

Officials said one person was transported to an area hospital. The extent of the injuries was not available.

An off-duty police officer was also involved in the crash.

Witnesses said they counted 11 cars, but police had not yet released the official number of vehicles involved.

Investigators were working to determine the exact cause of the crash, but said wet and icy conditions may have played a factor.
