NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Two men were arrested over the weekend for allegedly breaking into a shelter for homeless families.
Police arrived at the Safe Haven Family Center and found part of the perimeter fence cut with wire cutters.
Two men were found hiding inside in the duct-work. Lawrence Rice and Roger Mayberry were arrested and charged with burglary.
The men may have been looking to make off with construction equipment, as Safe Haven is currently expanding its facility on 3rd Avenue.
