NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Metro Police have issued a warrant for the arrest in the case of a suspect they said shot and killed a man Friday night.
On Tuesday, police said that arrest warrants for criminal homicide and attempted criminal homicide were issued against 20-year-old Christopher Shipp. Officials said Shipp shot and killed 31-year-old Dwight Eddie Bond and also injured Bond's girlfriend, Wendy Goodrich.
Shipp allegedly shot Goodrich in what police believe to be a drug deal .Officers said marijuana and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the apartment where the shooting occurred.
Police said Ship was currently out on bond on felony cocaine, marijuana and weapon possession charges
