Murfreesboro Police Make Arrest In Year-Old Murder Case

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - More than a year after the murder of a Murfreesboro man, police have made an arrest in the case. Brandon Buchanan has been charged in the murder of Bruce Thomas.

Murfreesboro police say in December of 2011, Buchanan and Thomas got into an argument over a woman. Gunfire erupted outside a home on Lakeshore Drive-- hitting Thomas. He was rushed to Middle Tennessee Medical Center, but later died.
