SMYRNA, Tenn.- Smyrna Police have asked for the public's help to identify a man who robbed a local business with a quick change scam.

Officials said the suspect visited the Game Stop store on Industrial Blvd on January 20, 2013 and bought a video game for $2.00. When paying for the game, he gave the store clerk a $50 bill. Police said while the clerk was making change, the suspect then pulled out another $50 bill and asked for change.

The clerk handed the suspect the change for the game as well as the change for the $50 bill he asked for. The suspect then left the store without ever giving the clerk the $50 bill he had for change from.

Police described the suspect as a black male approximately 6'0 tall and weighing about 240. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a set of keys around his neck on a lanyard. He left the area in a silver four door Buick.

Anyone with information to the identity of this individual was asked to call Smyrna Police Department at (615) 267-5434
