NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- By all appearances 1217 Rosebank Avenue is a clean place to live but Pouthear Nhon will tell you appearances can be deceiving.
"We clean it good already but it's still contaminated. Ain't nobody got time for that," the 30-year-old says about the sewage backing up into his parent's home.
As rains came pouring down on Wednesday raw sewage came pouring into Nhon's basement courtesy of a public work's project running in reverse. Raw sewage flooded come pouring up out of the shower drain, filling the entire basement level.
"It was too much contamination, sewage everywhere. It was full of crap, literally," he says.
Pouthear says Metro Water constantly tries fixing the problem. Now though the Metro Claims department is giving him the run around in repaying his family for the hundreds of dollars it takes to professionally cleanup the mess.
"I don't want money, I don't want nothing I just want someone to come clean everything, decontaminate everything for my parents."
