NASHVILLE, Tenn.-Kickoff is still  two days away, but the Super Bowl is already bringing a big boost to several area businesses.

At Electronic Express, customers have been anxious to get their hands on a new big screen TV for the game.  General Manager Nick Nelson said customers are taking advantage of recently reduced prices and plenty of options to choose from.

"It's fun," said Nelson. " The guys enjoy it because they are getting to roll out 60 inch TVs.  That doesn't happen all the time."

Super Bowl Sunday is the busiest day of the year at many area bars and restaurants.  Employees at Beyond the Edge in East Nashville are already preparing for the big crowds.

"People come for the whole game, so it's a four or five hour experience," said Director of Operations Josef Gutzmirtl. "It's always a big day for us.  We look forward to it every year."

The game will be on display on all the TVs in the bar, and there is plenty of beer and food on hand.  Gutzmirtl expects to sell 2,000 chicken wings.

At Kroger in Green Hills,  customers are grabbing party platters, and wings and chips for parties.  Managers have been staying busy keeping shelves stocked with all the popular items.

"You've got to have nachos, pizza, and tostitos to have a good party," said customer Colin Cooper.

Kickoff for Super bowl XLVII between the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens is 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
