CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- A police officer on his way to an emergency Saturday morning instead needed some emergency attention himself.
The Clarksville officer was going south on Fort Campbell Blvd around 2:00 a.m. when an SUV failed to yield and pulled out right in front of him. The officer slammed into the passenger side of the Chevy Trailblazer. The driver of the SUV, 20-year-old Jessica Sheppard only had a learners permit. She was treated on the scene.
Officer Arthur Bing complained of pains in his arm and was taken to a hospital, but he is also expected to recover.
