MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Police arrested a man who allegedly fired a shotgun through the ceiling of his apartment.
Murfreesboro Police said the man was drinking at an apartment complex on Barfield Crescent Road, and then decided to clean his loaded shotgun.
At some point, the weapon fired, sending a blast through the ceiling into the apartment above.
Police said the man did not go check on his neighbors, but rather went to bed.
Officers arrived at the scene, to find the hole in the ceiling, and arrested the man.
Fortunately, the upstairs neighbors were not hurt.
The shooter's name was not immediately released.
