NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Convicted interstate serial killer Bruce Mendenhall won't see his convictions overturned anytime soon.
Mendenhall appealed his conviction in the murder of Sara Hulbert, but the State Court of Appeals ruled against him on Monday.
Hulbert's body was found at the TA truck stop in downtown Nashville in 2007. Mendenhall claimed evidence taken from his truck was obtained illegally, and that phone calls he made while in jail never should have been admitted.
Mendenhall is serving a life sentence for Hulbert's murder. He was also accused of killing seven other women across several other states.
