Three Men Indicted For Stealing, Selling Scrap Metal

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Police have arrested three people in Rutherford County, accused of stealing and selling scrap metal.
Officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said 43-year-old Joey Black, 39-year-old Clint Michael Polesec and 45-year-old Michael Wayne Harris were indicted by a grand jury on Thursday. The three men were accused of stealing scrap metal from the Rutherford County landfill.
Police said that Polesec and Black worked at the county landfill when the theft took place. Harris, who owned the local company, Dumpsters Unlimited, arraigned to have Polesec and Black load his dumpsters with scrap metal from the landfill, which he would then take and sell for profit. Harris would then split the profit with Polesec and Black.
Harris, Black and Polesec were booked into the Rutherford County Jail on $2,500 bond each.
