MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – Two alleged burglars were caught in the act by investigators during a stakeout in Montgomery County.

Officials with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said two investigators decided to keep a lookout at a residence on Vaughn Lane after the property owner said she had noticed several items missing.

They found the padlock on a shed had been locked, and stayed at the property that night. They witnessed two men attempt to steal an ATV from a shed outside the home, and moved in to arrest the men.

32-year old Rusty Roby and 39-year old Daniel Huff were charged with burglary and criminal trespass. Their bonds were set at $25,000 and $25,500, respectively.
