NASHVILLE, Tenn. - An argument left one man with a gunshot wound to the face. Now, police are looking for the person responsible for pulling the trigger.

The shooting happened just after 9 a.m. Sunday on Bethwood Drive close to East Trinity Lane in East Nashville. 

The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries. His identity was not released.

The gunman ran off from the scene before police arrived.

Police haven't released a motive, but they said it was not a home invasion. Those investigating this case said it is likely the men knew each other.
