NASHVILLE, Tenn. – At least one person was taken into custody following a threat of violence at a Tennessee State University officials dorm.

School officials said some students got into a dispute at Boyd Hall on Monday morning, and verbal threats were made. The student who made the threat was taken into custody.

The threat remained under investigation. No names were released.

It is the second time in a week that there was an incident at the dormitory. On Friday, 23-year-old Centerius Bryant was charged with robbery and vandalism after a fight.

An affidavit said Bryant and the victim were inside a dorm room, when Bryan allegedly asked the victim if he had any weed. Police said when the victim said no, Bryant hit him in the face.

From there, Bryant stole the man's driver's license, two credit cards, and some cash. A fight broke out, and the two men knocked over two desk computers, damaging both of them.

Bryant was charged with robbery and vandalism, since the computers are property of TSU.
