NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Evening commuters leaving Nashville have been delayed after a two-vehicle crash near downtown.
The incident happened around 5 p.m. Monday at James Robertson Parkway and Interstate Drive, near Interstate 24 and just east of LP Field.
Several emergency vehicles were called out after a passenger car and SUV collided. The SUV somehow flipped and rolled upside down.
Officials said there were no critical injuries in the crash.
The road was not closed, but several lanes were blocked as emergency crews worked to clear the wreckage.
Traffic was backed up on James Robertson Parkway as evening commuters worked to get around the crash.
It was not clear how long the road would be blocked.
