6 Months Later, Search For Missing Watertown Man Goes On
By Chris Conte
WATERTOWN, Tenn. - Six months have now gone by since a Watertown man disappeared without a trace, leaving his friends and family to wonder if he'll every be found.
61-year-old David Riemens was last seen on August 8th, 2012.
"It's a terrible thing to lose someone like this," says Laura Nuessle, a close friend of Riemens.
Friends and family have put up billboards in Watertown, where he was last seen. There's also a reward out for information that could help find David but so far there hasn't been a single phone call or lead to help authorities.
"Your mind just does horrible things with what you don't know," she adds.
David is a stone mason by trade, and friends believe he was meeting a local contractor about a job last August. The two were apparently driving to a construction site together, but no one has heard from David since last year. He also left behind his Ford pickup truck at the Dollar General in Watertown.
"We all want him back; we all want him back," Laura adds.
Anyone with information that could help find David is asked to call Watertown Police at 615-237-3224.
