JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - Police in Jackson watched a business where they suspected drugs were being sold and arrested three men.
Officers arrested 29-year-old Jeffrey Keith Kennedy of Jackson on Sunday as he and two other people left the building.
Police said Kennedy had 6 and a half ounces of marijuana, 255 Hydrocodone pills, a loaded handgun, digital scales and packaging materials.
Officers also seized four cellphones, nearly $4,700 in cash and a check for $7,800.
They also discovered Kennedy is a felon and arrested him on possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a firearm in commission of a dangerous felony and drug offenses.
Another man was arrested on a misdemeanor charge and the third was taken into custody on outstanding warrants.
