GALLATIN, Tenn. – Police want to identify two people who stole a laptop from a local Walmart with a toddler and infant in tow.
Video surveillance caught the man and woman as they entered and exited the Walmart in Gallatin on February 11. Police said they broke into a lower storage area in the electronics section where the laptops are kept, and stole an Asus PC.
From there, they took the computer to the shoe department, removed it and the accessories from the box, placed it into a diaper bag or large purse, and then left the store.
Police said the man and woman left in what appeared to be a 2000s model white Chrysler Town and Country or Ford Windstar type van, possible with power sliding doors.
Anyone with information about the identity of the two thieves is asked to call the Gallatin Police Department at 615-452-1313.
