Crews Battle House Fire In South Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Firefighters were called out to a house fire in South Nashville Tuesday evening. The fire borke out shortly after 4:00 p.m. in the 3400 block of Hillside Road.

Flames were shooting from the rear of the house when firefighters arrived. Crews had to climb on the roof to put out the flames. No people were injured in the fire, but officials report a dog at the home was killed.
