NASHVILLE, Tenn. – All lanes of Interstate 40 eastbound have reopened after crews cleared an overturned semi-truck.
Police said the driver went off the roadway around 11:40 p.m. Tuesday at Fesslers Lane. The truck came to a rest between a guard rail and a rock wall.
Crews first had to right the semi, and then had to put a new cab on it to tow it away from the scene. It was possible that there was a small diesel fuel spill.
It was unclear if the driver was injured.
Three lanes of the interstate were closed until about 6 a.m.
