JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - A business owner and pastor has been sentenced to more than four years in prison for not paying $3.6 million in income taxes.

U.S. Attorney Edward Stanton said the sentence was imposed Tuesday upon Isaac Brooks Jr. of Jackson by U.S. District Judge J. Daniel Breen.

According to The Jackson Sun, Brooks earned $1,000 per month as pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, but owned an employee leasing service as well as a janitorial service.

In May 2012, Brooks pleaded guilty to two counts of a 29-count tax evasion indictment.
