Sumner County Inmate Accused in Murder-For-Hire Plot

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. -  A Sumner County inmate is facing additional charges, after police said he put together a murder- for-hire plot, from jail.

A grand jury indicted Frederick Lee Dietz, 63 in the plot.  He was charged on Tuesday.  The Hendersonville resident is accused of trying to have a witness in the drug case against him murdered

 

Dietz faces a new charge of solicitation of first degree murder.  As of Wednesday evening, he remained in the Sumner County Jail on $250,000 bond.
