NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Metro
Police believe foul play is involved in the disappearance of an East Nashville
man. Ivan Moore, 33, has been missing
since January. His family says it's just
not like him not to contact family and friends.
Moore was last seen when he left a friend's house in the
1100 block of North Second Street on January 13th. He had planned to walk a short distance away
to his home on Richardson Avenue. Police
say no one actually saw him walking down the street.
"The more people I spoke with about his characteristics and
his personality, it just started to look like more and more there was some kind
of foul play," said Cold case detective Steven Jolley handles missing persons
cases for the Metro Police Department. "I
don't have any evidence, direct evidence."
Police are asking for help from the public. They want to hear from anyone who may have
seen something that night, like if Moore was seen getting into a vehicle. If you know anything about the disappearance
of Ivan Moore, call CrimeStoppers at 74-CRIME.
The information could be worth up to $1,000 and you can remain
anonymous.
