Posted: Updated:

ALGOOD, Tenn.- The Cookeville community is coming together to rally support for a five-year-old little girl diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

Allie Clayburn is undergoing chemotherapy treatment for Ewing Sarcoma. She's a kindergarten student at Algood Elementary School. Saturday night, they held a fundraiser to raise money for medical costs, and there were plenty of items up for auction.

Organizers say more than $13,000 was raised.  Allie's father is a Sergeant with the Algood Police Department, and her mom works for the city police.
