NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A shooting Sunday afternoon injured a pregnant woman. The shooting happened just after 2 p.m. on Lewis Street south of downtown Nashville.
Police said a 23-year-old man and his pregnant girlfriend were outside when the gunman walked up and shot the man.
The bullet passed through both the man's legs. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The woman was grazed by the bullet. She was also taken to a hospital for treatment, but was expected to recover from her injuries.
As of Sunday night, police were still searching for the shooter.
The victims' identities were not released.
