NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Most of the mid-state will have a blustery day with a wind advisory in effect Monday.
The National Weather Service issued the advisory, which is in effect until midnight. Winds from the south will be at least 15 to 25 miles per hour, with gusts around 40 miles per hour.
Loose items in yards and on porches could be blown around.
Drivers of semi-trucks and SUVs should use extreme caution as strong winds can make driving difficult.
The windy conditions could be accompanied by a small chance of rain. NewsChannel 5 meteorologist Lelan Statom said a cold front will move in Monday night, bringing rain and a few storms.
