WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. - Police said a ladder in the roadway caused a chain reaction crash that shut down Interstate 40 westbound for some time on Monday morning.
The three vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer happened around 8:20 a.m. Monday at mile marker 224, near the Davidson/Wilson County line.. Mt. Juliet Police said a car struck a ladder in the roadway and lost control. At least two other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Only one person suffered minor injuries in the wreck.
The crash was cleared by 10:15 a.m.
