Ladder Causes Crash On I-40W At Davidson/Wilson County Line

WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. - Police said a ladder in the roadway caused a chain reaction crash that shut down Interstate 40 westbound for some time on Monday morning.

The three vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer happened around 8:20 a.m. Monday at mile marker 224, near the Davidson/Wilson County line.. Mt. Juliet Police said a car struck a ladder in the roadway and lost control. At least two other vehicles were involved in the crash.

A Mt. Juliet Police officer caught the crash on his dash cam. Watch the video here.

Only one person suffered minor injuries in the wreck.

The crash was cleared by 10:15 a.m.
