16-Year-Old Killed In 4-Wheeler Crash In Benton County

BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. – A Henry County teenager was killed in a 4-wheeler crash in Benton County on Monday.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said 16-year-old Steven R. Rushing, of Paris, was riding a four-wheeler on Crooked Creek Cemetery Road around 2 p.m. and lost control after striking loose gravel in a curve.

The four-wheeler ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree, killing Rushing.

Friends told NewsChannel 5 Rushing had become an Eagle Scout in December 2012.
