Two Injured In Head-On Collision In Dickson County

DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. – Two people were injured in a near head-on collision in Dickson County on Wednesday morning.

The crash happened around 6 a.m. on Highway 70 in front of the entrance to Montgomery Bell Park. A report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol said a Dodge Avenger driven by 25-year-old Ciara Henderson crossed the center line, and struck a Nissan Versa head-on.

The driver of the Versa, 32-year-old Gregory Fifth, was taken by ambulance to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Henderson was taken by ambulance to Horizon Medical Center. She was cited for failure to exercise due car and no insurance. 

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
