MNPD Officer Taken To Hospital After Crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – An officer with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department was taken to the hospital following a crash west of the Nashville Airport.

The crash happened just after 7 a.m. Wednesday at Briley Parkway at Kermit Drive. Police said a female officer in an unmarked vehicle was rear-ended by another vehicle.

The officer was taken to the hospital after complaining of back pain.

The other driver was not hurt.
