Man Charged After Drugs, Guns Found At Home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A South Nashville man was arrested Tuesday night after police found drugs and several guns inside his home.

William Justin Brake, 28, was taken into custody after a drug complaint at the home on Cane Ridge Road.

Police seized components used in meth manufacture, mushroom grow containers, four ounces of unlawful psychedelic mushrooms, four ounces of marijuana and several guns.

Detectives said Brake acknowledged that he had cooked meth at the residence in the past and was growing mushrooms.

Brake was charged with initiation of the process to manufacture meth, unlawful gun possession in the commission of a dangerous felony, possession of marijuana for resale and possession of unlawful mushrooms for resale.

He was freed on $10,500 bond. A court date was scheduled for April 9.
