Smyrna Police Want To Identify Game Stop Thieves

SMYRNA, Tenn. – Smyrna Police want to identify three men accused of stealing merchandise from a local game store.

The three men entered the Game Stop on Industrial Drive just after noon Wednesday. Police said one of the men distracted the clerk, while another removed merchandise from its packaging and concealed it in his clothing.

The three men left the store without paying. They left the scene in a purple Saab convertible, which police said had a stolen dealer plate from South Carolina.

Police said the three men are also suspected in another theft in Franklin.
