NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A Brentwood man has been arrested in connection with a multi-county iPad theft ring.
Ngoc Vo Ngo, 30, was charged Thursday night with one count of theft between $1,000 and $10,000.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was asked in August 2012 to investigate a theft ring where individuals were shoplifting iPads from area Walmarts and selling them Ngo.
In an operation conducted on Thursday, Ngo purchased nine iPads for $2,100 from law enforcement at Jennifer Nails on Ewing Drive in Nashville.
The investigation is ongoing at this time. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department and Walmart loss prevention department assisted in the investigation.
Ngo was booked into the Davidson County Jail and released on bond.
