NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A mid-state man was arrested after police said he admitted to looking at pornographic images and videos of children on his computers.

Police charged 59-year-old Jamie Torres-Guerra with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, but they said the investigation was far from over.

After getting a search warrant, officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department searched Guerra's computer. Investigators said they found around 35,000 additional images on his computers that they will go through with a fine-tooth comb to see if more charges could come forward.

"He took us back to the apartment and provided a laptop to our detectives. They were able to do a precursory search right there and see some images," said Lieutenant Michael Dudley.

Investigators said they were first alerted to the criminal images by the Nixa Police Department in Missouri.

"They were actually able to provide our detectives here with information on an IP address that they had linked to child pornographic images," said Dudley.

Investigators linked the images to Guerra. He was charged with sexual exploitation of a minor but police said the investigation was not over.

"We obtained a search warrant for his apartment and an arrested warrant for what we had already seen. Once those were signed we arrested him for the images we had already seen, executed the search warrant. During that search warrant they found another laptop that was connected to an external hard drive and that hard drive contained the roughly 35,000 images and or videos," said Dudley.

Guerra was being held in the Davidson County Criminal Justice Center on a $75,000 bond.

Investigators said once they search the remaining images they will see if the subjects come up in a database for missing children.
