Police Arrest Man Wanted For Attempted Murder

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A man who evaded police for almost three months is now behind bars. Delvonte Nevils is accused of shooting two men in December at the Haynes Garden Apartments.

Sunday morning, police spotted Nevils in Goodlettsville driving a stolen car.

When they attempted to pull him over, he jumped out and ran. He made it to his hotel, America's Best Value Inn, near Rivergate Parkway and allegedly tried to hide in his room. Police surrounded the area, and that's when they say he jumped from the balcony onto a car.

He was taken into custody and faces several charges including attempted murder.
